4 PROMILLE or better VIER PROMILLE finally done it!
It took them nearly half a decade to finish the new album “alte schule” (engl. “old school”). Not because of a long studio time but because of a lot of private things happened to single bandmembers. And Volker still has his other band THE PORTERS.
Anyway we’re glad to announce 4 PROMILLE back on the map with the original line up and a brandnew album. It was absolutely worth waiting for these 13 songs plus they have new bandlogo and new merchandise, so keep your eyes open!
They did a hard work on their songwriting and the result gives us 13 new songs wich kicks arse!! Volker took over the 3rd voice, 5 songs sung in english, 3 songs sung by Melanie – somewhere between Blondie & Penelope Houston and 2 great covers.
The first one is a tribute to some german actor well known as “the German Frank Sinatra”, died not to long ago on alcoholabuse – some kind of a rocker !!! Music by THE POGUES.
The other one is a country deluxe version of BONECRUSHER’S “Porn Star” – this one is so good that we would like to give them the cd in person just to see some goofy faces !!!
To complete this album they added some piano, organ & string-music for some backround but don’t be afraid the most important thing is that they still keep the faith and on the bottom line it’s a great “streetpunk”, “punkrock” or even “Oi! Punk” album - call it want you want –
they just set up “new directions”.
We also put a lot in the artwork and packing. So the CD is wrapped in a nice diggipack with insideoutprinting plus a 20 page fullcoloured booklet (insideout type of paper).
The LP is limited to 1.000 copies in black vinyl (old school) and the cover is insideout printed too plus a 20 page fullcoloured “Booklet Magazine” (not just the cd booklet).
So play it loud and enjoy!
